Design for dynamic wearables

Taught by RJ Weaver exclusively at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, USA. We focus on building skills in the areas of computational design, wearable tech, digital sculpting, rendering, and 3D printing. The course has been presented to Undergrad and Graduate students of all levels. We focus on learning learning how to use coding within design to create wearables that can respond to various stimuli. Through Grasshopper, Blender, and 3D Printing, students learn how to take an idea from concept to reality with computational design, and their unique final projects are visible below.
